Setting up 'Senior Mode' on your iPhone

To set up Assistive Access (often referred to as 'Senior Mode') on your iPhone, follow these steps:



1. Open Settings: Go to your iPhone's Settings app.

2. Accessibility: Tap on "Accessibility" in the menu.

3. Assistive Access: Scroll down and tap on "Assistive Access".

4. Set Up Assistive Access: Tap "Set Up Assistive Access" and then tap "Continue".

5. Verify Apple Account: Ensure the Apple Account shown belongs to the person who will use Assistive Access. If it's incorrect, sign out and sign in with the correct account.

6. Choose Layout: Select the layout for apps on the Home Screen and items within apps. You can choose between a simple row format or a large tile format.

7. Add and Customise Apps: Add the apps you want to be available in Assistive Access and customize their settings.

8. Verify Device Passcode: Make sure the person using Assistive Access knows the device passcode. You can also set up Face ID or Touch ID if available.
